It's a fact: Employers name internship experience as the most important factor they consider in hiring new college graduates for full-time positions. Our Career Services and Experiential Learning Program offers a range of services to help students (undergraduates and graduates) reach their career goals. As your Internship Agent, OASIS helps you manage your career planning by acting as a "go-between", facilitating the process between application and placement. In addition to helping you fulfill degree requirements, our program enables you to explore a profession before committing to that particular career path. An internship through our agency will allow you to gain the skills and confidence of someone who's been in a career for several years. It also provides you with a unique opportunity for networking, which will earn you invaluable personal and industry contacts.

How Does the Program Work?

Our staff of career specialists will help you to assess your skills, interests, values, and experiences as they relate to your long-term career goals. Once you have defined those goals, we will represent your candidacy, help you prepare a resume, support you during the interview stages and assist you in negotiating job offers.

It's never too early or too late to work on your professional development plan. The more time you invest in this process, the more likely you are to achieve your goals. Whatever your needs, OASIS offers services and resources to help you with every aspect of the internship process.

The cost of securing an internship through OASIS is $500 (USD). All fees and costs incurred over the course of an internship are typically the responsibility of the student, but can in some cases be shared by an employer and/or your University.

Payment schedule is:

• $100 to be submitted with application
  - processing and approval of application
  - review resume’ and restructure necessary changes
  - review college requirements for course credit
  - initiate database research and begin contacting employers
  - negotiate multiple offers from employers with matching comprehensive programs
• $200 to be made before receiving employer phone interviews and offer letters
• $200 to be made when sending acceptance letters
